Study and service

8/3/2022

Dear members and friends of St Peter’s Lutheran Church, Hobart.

We had a good discussion and interaction at our first online Lenten study last Wednesday. The study questions were well-tailored and relevant, helping to prompt interaction and reflection. We are looking at the visible marks or signs of the existence of the true church. This week we will be looking at the Word of God. The readings are Psalm 119:102-105 and John 1:1-5, 10-14. You can join through the link here or as found on our St Peter’s Lutheran Church, Hobart website.

We apologise that we were unable to stream our service last Sunday due to internet issues. We did record and subsequently upload it. It can be viewed here. As a Lenten exercise, you are encouraged to at least view the sermon.

Please contact me at any time if pastoral care, a visitation or home communion is desired or required.

Warm regards and blessings,

Pastor Mike.
Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, Hobart.

The Lutheran Church of Australia acknowledges that our loving Creator God first gave the land on which we are placed, to the peoples of the First Nations who have walked and cared for this land since before recorded time. We thank God for the land’s Traditional Custodians and pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging as we travel this journey of reconciliation in Australia.
