News and Updates

September 16th, 2020

16/9/2020

Dear members and friends of St Peter's, Hobart.

Great to see some more faces back in person at worship last Sunday. If you haven't resumed but plan to, please register here (or thorough the button on our St Peter's website Homepage).

Bible study again this Thursday, 17th of September at 7.30pm. Please click here to join or click on the join Bible Study button on the website. We may be in a position to start looking at the seven seals in the book of Revelation which includes the legendary ‘four horsemen of the apocalypse’. Fascinating stuff. There are simple ways to understand the series of seven seals, seven trumpets and seven bowls which we will explore, all of which drive us back to the gospel and our deepest need, namely to be right with God through faith in His gift of the holy and innocent Christ crucified and risen for us and for our forgiveness. First-timers most welcome. Most are finding it easy enough to join but if you have any trouble phone Pastor Mikes phone (0417 811 706) and Harrison will talk you through.

Once again please let me know if you require pastoral care or home communion.

Warm regards and blessings,

Pastor Mike.

The Lutheran Church of Australia acknowledges that our loving Creator God first gave the land on which we are placed, to the peoples of the First Nations who have walked and cared for this land since before recorded time. We thank God for the land’s Traditional Custodians and pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging as we travel this journey of reconciliation in Australia.
