Maundy Thursday: 6.00pm This service will be over a sit down meal called an Agape meal or love feast. On Maundy Thursday we commemorate, among other things, Jesus’ institution of the Lord’s supper. One of the readings focus’ on St Pauls instructions about the Lord’s supper. This meal will help enable us to understand the context of his teaching better as well as being an opportunity to commemorate other aspects of ‘the night on which our Lord Jesus Christ was betrayed’. The meal will be free. One can contribute towards the cost if so desired through a voluntary or freewill offering on the night.
